Good Afternoon Stamping Friends,

Last week my niece turned six and she had a party this past weekend.  Of course that meant a birthday card was in order.  I recently saw a cute style of card in which there is a pull tab of sorts that you can pull to show a message inside.  I watched the Flip Flap Card video by Beth’s Paper Cuts to learn how to make it and it was super and turned out really cute.  I used the Cool Treats stamp set and coordinating dies along with the Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper.  My niece is such a sweetie that the sentiments from the set are perfect and quite fitting.

I could have picked a simpler card as she wasn't quite sure how to work the mechanics of the card but after showing her she loved it.  Her mom liked it too.  I will call that a win!

Working Like Crazy

Good Mornin', Good Mornin'!

I hope you are all doing marvelously! I have been working early and late at my 9-5 so I haven't had a lot of time to craft between work, being a mom and just being worn out.  Alas, I am thankful for those nights I can't sleep.  HAHA, okay, that is every night but some nights the creative juices just aren't flowing. Those nights I scour Pinterest, think about my goals, wonder why I can't sleep and count down the hours I have left to sleep... LOL.  Last night I did a little looking on Pinterest to see what kind of AMAZING ideas were out there that use the Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper and I was not at all surprised to see some AWESOME cards and projects.  I am now working on the card for the monthly team swap I am part of. I CASEd (copy and selectively edit) a card I saw on Pinterest using the Tasty Treats DSP because it is JUST THAT GOOD!  Once I get my swaps in the mail I will post a picture.

Avant Garden Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration 2017

GOOD MORNING STAMPING FRIENDS!

Here is a quick video on how to make a super simple card with the Avant Garden stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration 2017 catalog.  While I didn't show it in the video I would take a piece of Whisper White cut at 4 x 5 1/4 in and adhere it with Snail in the inside of the card. This way you can write within the card.
